The impossibility of reasonable debate is fueled by a biased media

Are you still one of those people that believes the media in the United States is not biased to the Left?  Consider the recent reporting of a Fourth of July parade float in Nebraska that depicted President Obama coming out of an outhouse labeled “Obama Presidential Library.”

Oh the outrage!

This article from ABC News immediately goes to the negative.  It immediately indicates “The Nebraska Democratic Party roundly condemned the float.” and goes on to give quotes of reactions that included “disrepectful,” “scared,” and “displeased.”  Only one quote indicates that it was political satire (which it clearly was).

Now think back a few years.  Ben Cohen of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream fame toured the country with a effigy of President Bush with flames shooting out of his pants, calling it the “Pants on Fire Tour.”
